Cisco SMARTcare is best suited to organisations with multiple Cisco networking and telephony devices and businesses with an intensive growth or hardware replacement plan.  Instead of a contract bound to a single piece of hardware, like the Cisco SMARTnet.  SMARTcare gives the organisation a single contract number that covers ANY Cisco networking or telephony device on the network.

Initially Cisco SMARTcare is priced by installing a discovery device on the network that identifies every Cisco networking or telephony device.  Each device has a particular weighting depending on its complexity of operation.  The total weighting is banded to provide an annual price for the contract.  Cisco networking devices can be added over the course of the contract and the customer will be invoiced a “true up” every quarter. 

Individual devices can be covered with a standard or enhanced level of care depending on the nature of the device.
